i was looking for original language movies one month ago when i found this streaming website:

i think it's usefull to improve my english because i can see movies, documentaries and series in every moment for free.
if you have a wi-fi connection this kind of website allow you to leave/travel without your external hard disk full of unuseful stuff.

Do you know LiveMocha?
It's like facebook, but it's aim is to let people to learn from each other.
It says on its home page: "Welcome to the World’s Largest Language Learning Community".
I'm registered there, and I like it.
At the registration moment every user you have to indicate his native language, and this site give you some lessons and relative excercises on the language of your choise. When you complete an excercise it can be readed by another user that have that native language. So you are sure that your work is correct for people that speak REAL that language.
I think it's funny and useful!

I was registered and I found only people that use to contact me via private messages for spam!
but the Idea is good maybe if someone want to share some more experience....

watch tv series 1. Family Guy 2. the Simpsons ... you will compare your experience and records with the italian dub version and will learn a lot. though they are spoken and subbed in American english.

Anyway, I'll give you two advices...first one: try not to translate from Italian in your mind...second one: try to speak english when you're getting tipsy...it helps!

I watched (with sub eng) the classic movie: blow, trainspotting, back to the future etc...
Tv series I watched all Series of How I met your mother (I think the best ever) and now I will watch Friends!!

I usually watch anime or tv series, even some movies, with original language plus english subtitles... it's the best way, in my opinion

But sometimes i prefer to remove eng subtitles just for improve my listening skills.
